I understand the power behind marketing to a specific demographic, but sometimes, after watching the 20th commercial about depression in the last hour, on a channel designed for women (Lifetime)…I am losing patience.
I am sure men feel the same way, all that pressure sitting at home with the wife on Saturday night, trying to watch an action film with the studly leading man and every other commercial is about Cialis…what???
Why do I not feel the same way when I am watching SyFy and they market depression ads…wait, they don’t advertise depression meds on SyFy…hmmm. I guess the demographics show that if you are watching SyFy on a Saturday night, well…..
Anyway…I sometimes feel like a target in the overkill onslaught of marketing tripe that comes my way.
