I see my readership is down…

Jim (on of my pastors/friends) is always talking about “kidships” (the relationships between kids whose parents are friends)..and it always makes me think of spaceships, and other words that end in “ship”…..if the suffix “ship” is taken as to mean the “shape” or “collective shape” of what the proceeding noun is, then I have a few favorites:

Worship (not a clear noun proceeding, but is derived from the word worth)

reverent honor and homage paid to God

The technique or practice of maneuvering a dangerous situation to the limits of tolerance or safety in order to secure the greatest advantage, esp. by creating diplomatic crises. (For anyone who knows how crazy my life is, you will appreciate why I feel a kinship (oops there I go again!) with this one.)

Now we know why my readership is down….(distant sound of foghorns…..aaaaooooooogahhhh!)

Your readership is now up by one….. 🙂

My favorite is fellowship….. as in the fellowship we have as Christians, “one with another.”
As in one of my favorite hymns, ‘Leaning on the Everlasting Arms’, “What a fellowship, what a love divine, leaning on the everlasting arms!”
