Accountability …I’m not good at this

Okay, I have decided that 6:30 AM is the best time for me to get in a consistent workout at the Frisco Athletic Center.  I am too tired at the end of the day to get “motivated” and if I go in the mornings, I can leave Grace at home with Andy (asleep) and then get my day jump started.  I hope that I can maintain this schedule in a fairly consistent manner.  I downloaded an app called iJournal, that I read about the goes along with the book The Happiness Advantage.  The app let’s you journal these things everyday (and I am paraphrasing)

  • I am grateful for:
  • Today I meditated/prayed on
  • Exercise I did today
  • Kindness that I experienced today
So, beginning next Thursday (since I will be with my mother-in-law until then) I am going to start my new schedule.  I am the queen of excuses for not exercising, so I will be journal-ing my exercise here. No big deal, just what I was able to accomplish.  I will still baffle you all with my thought processes every now and then 🙂
